In 1995, I lost my daughter Skylar to cancer. Since that time I have tried to do everything I can to help raise awareness and much needed funding for children’s illnesses. I’m so humbled by the response that we receive from our gracious tournament sponsors and participants for the past eleven years. To date they have helped me to raise nearly two-million dollars to fund research to combat cancer, AIDS and Leukemia. I know that Skylar would be proud of the work that we’ve done, and I couldn’t think of a better way to honor her memory.

There are also some big changes coming to the tournament itself, starting with the date and location. This year’s tournament will be held on Friday, May 5th (Cinco de Mayo!), and we’ll be teeing it up at the spectacular Lost Canyons Golf Club in Simi Valley, CA.!

We may have changed courses, but don’t be concerned about a change in the scenery! All of the Vince’s favorite Girls Girls Girls will be out in force, greeting participants and giving away lots of goodies and prizes! We’ve even got a few new course games this year, and new trophies for the winners!

As always, immediately following play in the clubhouse at Lost Canyons, join us for our Cinco de Mayo Mexican Buffet, and our one of a kind, VERY live auction and awards ceremony, hosted by Tiffany Granath of Playboy Radio’s Afternoon Advice on Sirius Satellite Radio. Several unique and collectible items from the world of music, movies and sports will be up for bid. If you’ve attended before, then you know that this auction is anything but silent!
